Since 1990, Orcas Island Eclipse Charters has been providing whale watching and wildlife tours through the scenic beauty of the San Juan Islands. Each adventure begins with anticipation and excitement. Discover the thrill of seeing bald eagles soaring majestically. Experience the excitement of watching Orcas breach playfully in the sparkling Pacific Ocean. Cruise by sea lions sunbathing lazily on the rocks. Captain Dan and Denise Wilk have 32 years island residency and are perhaps the best known whale watch operators in the San Juans. After all, they were chosen to play the “Coastal Marine Patrol” with their patrol boat when “Free Willy II” was filmed in the San Juan Islands. They had the privilege of taking the film’s cast and crew out for a whale watch and some saw their first Orca “Killer” Whales in the wild.

On an Orcas Island Eclipse tour, you will travel on inland waters, viewing many of the 172 beautiful San Juan Islands. En route you may see Orca ("Killer") whales, Minke whales, harbor seals, Dall's and harbor porpoises, ospreys, cormorants, great blue herons and migratory seabirds. With ever-changing cycles of nature, each tour is unique. An unpredictable wilderness, full of surprises, is waiting just for you. You will never forget it!
